Weisberg, Esq. are New Jersey Superior Court-approved family mediators who receive many court appointments, are often selected by clients choosing to enter private mediation, and receive many mediation referrals from other lawyers. Stephanie Frangos Hagan, Esq. is also Court-approved mediators in Domestic Violence matters involving a Temporary Restraining Order or Final Restraining Order.
As mediators, we are committed to helping the parties reach practical, effective and lasting agreements. Although not every case is appropriate for ADR, we believe in encouraging parties to consider resolution of matters outside the courtroom whenever possible, whether through ADR or negotiation.
In considering mediation, some of the advantages in your case may include maintaining ultimate control over the outcome and being able to present your positions in a less restrictive setting than the courtroom. Divorce arbitration is another option chosen by some parties who want to ensure matters are resolved privately and are willing to accept decisions made by the arbitrator. Compared to litigation, both of these options can offer a way to better manage the financial and emotional components of your case reducing the time and money devoted to resolving your dispute.
